- I'd be interested to know if you looked at ObjectSpace' Systems<toolkit> ?
- The unix version was made available only Q4 95 but it has a certain number
- of interesting features such as:

- - source code compatibility over multiple platforms (well, they take care
- of idiosyncrasies for you).

- One thing that I don't like much about Rogue Wave's products is that
- they tend to force you to use Tools.h++. In turn, Tools.h++ tends to force
- you to buy into Rogue's Wave approach to mixing object-oriented programming
- with the stl. If that's ok with you then great. I don't like their approach,
- it is way too constricting and closes the door on too many opportunities one
- can exploit with the stl. (but that is another subject)
